02Data collected and purposes

Contact form: first name, last name, email, phone, situation, company name and message. This data is used to answer your request and present our services. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and legitimate interest.

Newsletter: email address, to inform you when new articles are published. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Booking a meeting: when you book a slot, the information you enter (name, email, possibly phone and message) is collected by Calendly to organise the call. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps.

WhatsApp conversations: if you contact us via WhatsApp, your number and messages are processed to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Audience measurement and tracking: we use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics and HubSpot to understand how the website is used and improve our content. Legal basis: your consent for trackers that require it.

Admin area: Freemakers team members sign in to internal tools with their Google account (name, email). Legal basis: legitimate interest.

03Recipients and processors

Your data is intended for the Freemakers team. It is processed on our behalf by the following providers: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (email delivery through Gmail, Google Analytics and admin authentication), HubSpot (visit tracking and customer relationship management) and Upstash (article view counter, with no personal data).

We never sell or rent your personal data.

04Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers are located outside the European Union, particularly in the United States. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

05Retention periods

Contact requests and prospects: 3 years from the last interaction.

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Audience measurement data: 13 months maximum for trackers.

06Cookies and trackers

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (remembering your language and your cookie choices), which do not require consent.

Only with your consent, Google Analytics (audience measurement) and HubSpot (marketing and customer relationship) set trackers. None of these trackers is loaded until you have given your consent. Vercel Analytics measures audience without cookies.

Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you will be asked again. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time:

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object and to withdraw your consent at any time.

08Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to internal tools.
